Remember why you started. This is a quote that you see often on social media, but it’s normally depicted as something a beginner needs to hear for motivation. In my experience, this is something everyone should do once in a while, even experts. For a while this year, and more than once, I struggled to actually enjoy the gym. I was looking at it as something I had to do and dreaded everyday more than something I enjoyed. I kept asking myself: “do I even want to be here?” or “do I even like this anymore?” The answer is simple. REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED. I had to take a step back and remember why I began my fitness journey. I had to remember why I fell in love with the gym and the mental benefits it has on me. I had to remember why I started to remember why it is important to me. The gym will forever be my passion. Working out will forever be something that gives me so much joy. I absolutely LOVE throwing heavy weight around and teaching people what I’ve learned along the way in my own fitness journey. I love teaching people to love themselves through fitness, in the same way I did. Come back stronger. Each set back is meant to set you up for a stronger version of yourself. If you are struggling right now to enjoy the things you love, just think of where you’re at right now as starting from scratch. Go back to the reason you started and let that fuel your fire.

Milhares de horas de prática bem direcionada é o que gera um desempenho superior em qualquer área, dos estudos a atletas de ponta, quem não quiser passar por isso, esqueça, muitos dizem que queriam alcançar A ou B, mas grandes conquistas são pra quem está disposto a pagar o preço, trabalhar duro, fazer renuncias e viver de acordo com suas prioridades. Ao longo da minha jornada, obtive muito aprendizado constatando na prática o real significado de muitas situações que estarão presentes no decorrer da vida. Há muito tempo entendi o quão importante é definirmos e consolidarmos nossos propósitos por estarem diretamente relacionado com a realização dos nossos objetivos. Entendi que o sucesso também é o que acontece quando se trabalha duro por um propósito. O trabalho duro sem propósito ou consciência pode levar ao fracasso contínuo e a exaustão. Trabalhando duro e consciente, e você aprenderá como trabalhar cada vez melhor. Lembre-se disso, antes de querer fazer mais, aprenda a fazer melhor. Por fim, necessitei priorizar algumas situações e renunciar a outras nessas últimas semanas em prol da minha evolução acadêmica e profissional, porém, sem deixar de lado minha preparação como atleta, onde estou conseguindo extrair o máximo dos resultados esperados neste período de off season e me focando em obter novos aprendizados no que diz respeito ao treinamento de maneira específica e técnica. Em breve retomo as postagens compartilhando um pouco de todo o aprendizado que venho conquistando. Keep going!

One of the greatest joys in life is definitely being a dad. Seeing our son smile so damn big literally takes away all of my stress in life. It helps remind me of how rich I truly am. To have a beautiful and love wife and son . Jess and I went to our first ever pumpkin patch Witt Grayson with our awesome friends @biancasomoza and @_matiassomoza and it was a blast!!
