⚠️Ecco un ottimo esercizio per ritrovare la propria stabilità della colonna grazie all'attivazione del core. 🐢 Oggi andremo a trattare l'esercizio chiamato "DEAD BUG" o "insetto morto" 🐜😵 ... _ ⚠PERCHÉ È UNA FIGATA?⚠ Perché lo può fare praticamente chiunque ed ovunque, essendo in posizione supina (pancia in su ) è molto più facile rispetto a dei classici plank ed è molto più intuitivo per chiunque, inoltre la natura della posizione ci permette di mantenere la NEUTRALITÀ della colonna molto più facilmente _ ⚠A COSA SERVE?⚠ 🎈Serve ad attivare e rinforzare il core, ovvero quella "cinta" muscolare profonda che ci aiuta nella stabilità di colonna e organi interni della zona addominale e la catena crociata anteriore. ✔🐢Avere un core forte può essere fondamentale per guarire dolori alla zona lombare, che molto spesso derivano da un sovraccarico della muscolatura che svolge tutto il lavoro di stabilizzazione a causa di un core poco attivo _ ⚠ESECUZIONE⚠ Si parte da una posizione dove gli arti inferiori sono flessi a 90° e quelli superiori sono estesi e perpendicolari al busto, INSPIRANDO DAL NASO👃e concentrandosi sul farlo con la pancia (per attivare meglio il diaframma, muscolo che va di pari passo con un core ben funzionante ) si "estendono" lentamente gli arti (inferiore e superiore singolarmente )poi opposti fino ad arrivare in prossimità del pavimento concentrandosi sul mantenere la colonna neutra e non iperestenderla ⤴dopodiché si riportano in posizione di partenza espirando col naso, e così via con l'altra coppia di arti... Veggie Shepard's Pie 😍⁣ ⁣ Decided to try this meat free mince from Meatless Farm. ☺️ A DAY IN THE LIFE via yours truly looks a little something like this... ⏰ When the alarm sounds...I quite literally wake up like...sometimes super energized ready to smash the day…others hits the snooze button 5 times. (I’m human, not everyday is a walk in the park. ) ✍️ Gratitude journal writing & read a little book or tune into a podcast or audiobook. 🙆‍♀️ Stretching + mini workout with a band and free weights at home to get my day started off on the right foot. Get ready to rock the day away. Zoom business calls + strategizing, create marketing materials. 🍳 Breakfast: Avocado Eziekiel toast with 2 eggs, lots of water, sometimes a coffee Healthy Snack: protein shake or an apple 💻 Zoom meetings with doctors, chiro, client check- ins Lunch: lean meat, sweet potato, veggies Create content for social media platforms. Snacky snack time… clean or sometimes a fun little treat before the gym the sugars from even a caramel dipped candy apple will go straight to the glutes when droppin’ the squat bar down low to the floor. Sweat sesh time to grind it out at the gym aka the adult playground 😋 Dinner: looks a little something like...lean meat, fish or salmon with quinoa or rice & veggies. 📲 Catch up with family, friends, social media, or listen to a podcast. 😴 Bed time between 10-11:30 pm to catch those good quality zzz’s. 👉🏽TIP: Breaking down the day into time increments or to visualize what your time is spent on can be helpful for organization and focusing on getting those goals accomplished.

To lose weight you need to be in a calorie deficit- Meaning - consuming/eating less calories and burning more calories than you are consuming. ⁣⁣The truth is many “health” foods are nutrient dense but also very high calorie dense. So eating “healthy” food alone isn’t going to induce fat loss. Being in a total overall calorie deficit is. Again this post isn’t intended to demonise any food as all foods fit in moderation. Portion size is key! A few points I would like to make you aware especially if you’ve been feeling stuck in seeing results. 1️⃣Something that is labeled as a “HEALTH FOOD” is not necessarily great for weight loss. 2️⃣Something that is labelled “LOW FAT” doesn’t mean its calorie free and not full of carbs/sugars. 3️⃣”SUGAR FREE” doesn’t mean calorie free. 4️⃣Lastly something labelled “GLUTEN FREE” doesn’t mean physique friendly. At the end of the day - ANYTHING you consume besides water contains calories. Healthy calories are still calories and consuming too many WILL lead to weight gain. It doesn’t matter where the calories are coming from, they all count. Portion sizes is key to seeing results. If you’re feeling stuck and don’t know where to start I suggest using the app “myfitnesspal” its a great tool to use for at least 30 days to give you an idea of how many calories you are consuming overall.
